This Privacy Policy explains how Sages Media LLC, a Tennessee limited liability company doing business as Movement Filmmaker ("we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you visit movementfilmmaker.com, purchase our products, or communicate with us by email or text message.
By using our website or providing us your information, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit your information.
1. Information we collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Information you give us directly. Your first name, email address, and (if you choose to provide it) your mobile phone number, submitted through the opt-in form on our website, at checkout, or in the course of communicating with us.
- Consent records. When you check the SMS consent box, we record the exact consent language shown to you, the date and time of your consent, and the page URL where you gave it. We keep this record to demonstrate that your consent was freely given.
- Purchase information. If you buy a course, membership, mentorship, or digital product, our third-party payment and hosting platforms (Whop and Lemon Squeezy) process your order. We do not collect or store your full payment card details — payment processing is handled entirely by those platforms and their payment processors.
- Communications. Messages you send us by email, text, our website chat, or social media, and our replies.
- Automatically collected technical information. Basic log and device information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. See Section 8 on cookies and tracking.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to:
- Deliver the free trainings, resources, and updates you requested;
- Send you marketing and informational messages by email and — only with your express written consent — by text message, including new trainings, course launches, live call invitations, and offers;
- Provide, support, and administer the courses, community, mentorship, and digital products you purchase;
- Respond to your questions and provide customer support;
- Maintain records of your messaging consent and opt-out requests as required by law and by mobile carrier rules;
- Improve our website, content, and offerings;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents, and comply with our legal obligations.
3. SMS / text messaging and how we share information
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and messaging delivery providers, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share information only in these limited circumstances:
- Service providers acting on our behalf. Companies that help us operate the business — our customer relationship management and messaging platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector and its underlying messaging carriers), our email delivery provider, our course and community hosting platforms (Whop, Lemon Squeezy), and our website host (Vercel). These providers may only use your information to perform services for us and are contractually restricted from using it for their own purposes.
- Legal compliance and protection. When we are required to do so by law, subpoena, or legal process, or where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others, or to investigate fraud.
- Business transfer. If Sages Media LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy.
4. Your choices and rights
- Text messages. Consent to receive text messages is always optional and is never a condition of any purchase. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and we will send no further marketing texts to that number. Reply HELP at any time for assistance, or contact us using the details below.
- Email. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. You can also email us to be removed.
- Access, correction, and deletion. You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing sage@movementfilmmaker.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may need to retain certain records — including messaging consent and opt-out records — to comply with our legal obligations.
- State privacy rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) or the Tennessee Information Protection Act, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in those laws. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any privacy right.
5. Data security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encryption of data in transit over HTTPS, access controls limiting who within our business can view personal data, and reliance on established third-party providers that maintain their own security programs. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your information for as long as needed to provide our services and to satisfy our legal, tax, and record-keeping obligations. Messaging consent and opt-out records are retained for at least four years, as recommended for compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
6. Children's privacy
Our website, products, and messaging programs are intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to provide us your information, purchase from us, or consent to receive text messages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly. 7. International visitors
We operate from the United States and our service providers are located primarily in the United States. If you access our website or provide information from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
8. Cookies and tracking technologies
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Essential cookies that are necessary for the site and its forms to function.
- Analytics and performance data collected by our website host to understand aggregate traffic and improve the site.
- Third-party resources. We load web fonts from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving those files.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Disabling cookies may affect how parts of the site work. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals, as no common standard for them has been adopted.

Our website links to third-party sites and platforms, including Whop, Lemon Squeezy, Instagram, and our Ask Sage assistant. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any third-party site you visit.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or text to those who have opted in. Your continued use of the website after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
